Hello there!  My name is Kevin, and I'm a health food enthusiast and occupational therapy assistant from St. Louis, MO.  I created this blog so that I could share my excitement about whole food plant based diets.  When I decided I wanted to improve my health, I did some research, and the evidence-based science pointed towards a diet made up of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts and seeds.  I soon found out that my love for cooking was rekindled, and I also started feeling great and losing weight.


There are a lot of changes to make when you commit to this path, and it takes patience, perseverance, support, and plenty of trial and error.  Everyday I try to look at new recipes, listen to educational podcasts, and watch videos of informative lectures on nutrition and cooking.  It's actually a lot of fun, and I usually end up in the kitchen, trying new things, and eating delicious food!  I'd like to use this blog to show you some of the food I've made, and also highlight some of the people and resources that have inspired me to keep on this path.  So thanks for stopping by, and please reach out and say hello, and tell me what inspires you!   -Kevin
